              ABOUT PERFORMANCE:

TANZMIRO+MORE is a choreographed remembrance of Juan Miro, the Catalan painter. Not unlike the painter in question, the piece attemps to view and show the world from an aspect that is different from the usual. The dance resembles a painting in which colours, themes and motives come to life with the support of different stage properties. The performance takes us to the imaginary studio of Juan Miro where spectators see a huge picture frame and the dancers are the characters  in  the painting. The performers are identified with the properties, the properties with the painting and the painting with the work of Miro. The performance offers some points and ideas to go by, but no explanation.Just like int he case of a surrealistic painting, it is up to you what you make of what you see.

TANZMIRO+MORE  was performed in 2007 Budapest Spring Festival. At this festival was also invited for example Les Ballets Monte-Carlo
